我的家人

我是缅甸人(miăn diàn rén: Burmese) 。我家里有四口人。我爸爸，妈妈，弟弟和我。我家人住(zhù : residing at) 在新加坡十六年了。
我爸爸是一个地理学家 (dì lǐ xué jiā: Geologist)。他以前有参与(cān yù: to participate in) 滨海湾艺术中心 (bīn hăi wān yì shù zhōng xīn: The Esplanade) 的工程(gōng chéng: project)。
我妈妈以前在缅甸是一位地理老师。 在缅甸，老师和学生们都要穿白色和青色的制服(zhì fú: uniform) 上学。现在，她是一个家庭妇女(jiā tíng fù nǚ : Housewife)。她做的饭很好吃。
我弟弟正在服兵役(fú bīng yì : to serve the military)。明年，他会上大学。虽然(suī rán : although) 他有时很烦(fán : irritating)，可是他还是我最好(zuì hăo : best) 的朋友。我在新加坡国立大学科学(kē xué: Science) 系。我最喜欢的动物是猫。我也很爱吃辣椒(là jiāo: chilli)。我对学汉语很有兴趣(xìng qù : interest)，可是背(bèi: to memorise) 汉字很不容易。
